This is one of our state-of-the-art single-ended power amplifiers, it can use almost any 8 pin power tubes such as: KT66,KT77,KT88,KT90,KT99,KT100,6550,EL34,6CA7,6L6,6V6,6Y6,5881...etc.

Boasting a built-in 5U4G rectifier tube, it offers a sweeter and smoother tonal quality. You can use many different type of rectifier tubes for sonic performance fine tuning, such as 5AR4, 5R4, 274B, 5Y4, 80 or 83 and with proper adaptors, STR-101 or 102 or 103...etc.

A selectable Self-bias circuit ensures the best tonal quality, but still retains the flexibility of a various bias level for different type of tubes. A VU power meter is featured for easy monitoring or tube matching with an external signal generator.

High grade silicon steel output transformers ensure the most transparent and liquid tonal quality, the bass punch and control of those 8 pin power tubes is superior to the 300B or 2A3. The architecture makes this special model suitable for those who are looking for both sweet and transparent sound but also good bass control and punch at the same time.

A built-in selectable high-pass-filter circuit default : cut-off at 500Hz, any frequency is possible upon request) , this feature enables the user to utilize this amp as a mid-high frequency drive amplifier in a bi-amp or tri-amp configuration. This enables the signal to be unsaturated by the frequency components below 500Hz, which eats up almost 80% of the power in a piece of music. This 5-10Wrms power amplifier can now sound like a 50-100Wrms amplifier with almost the same dynamics.
