1W x 2  single-ended power amplifier (Headphone amp)

This is one of our top model single-ended power amplifiers. Although it only has 1Wrms, it can drive a pair of speakers with 90db/W efficiency to a reasonable loudness level. It is also a very high quality headphone amplifier, super quiet, super warm and rich sounding, with good body and density. The output transformer uses a NOS UTC 2W wide band transformer 600:8ohm type.

Some of the above photos show the special version of the SE-6AS7G, which employs a HPF (high pass filter) switch to select either full range or high frequencies. Another pair of pre-amp RCA outputs can be added to let this amp perform as a transformer output pre-amplifier. A pre-amp / power amp switch can alternate between speaker output or pre-amp output. This option will cost an additional C$300.

We now have an up-graded version with 2Wrms/ch output with an enhanced transformer for an additional C$200.
