The UX-227 is a single triode antique vacuum tube, which has very good linearity for both large and small input signals and with excellent sonic performance. The QA-227 deluxe features an ultra heavy current tube rectifier with NOS oil filter capacitors and a high grade choke, oil filled coupling capacitors , black beauty coupling capacitors, and high grade philips output capacitors. Boasting a separate filament transformer and high-voltage transformer enhances the dynamic range and clarity.
