This is a relatively low power output push-pull power amplifier which uses the most common 6BQ5 tube as an output stage. A wide-band high grade output transformer is used in order to achieve the best price-performance. A large filter capacitor in parallel with many smaller capacitors provide both good power supply response and stability in sound quality. This amplifier can provide a very warm and sweet musical rendition. It is best run with a medium to high efficiency speaker for optimum performance. Recommended speaker efficiency 86 db/W
