This is our best phono pre-amplifier, it is equipped with all the desired features of a hi-end phono stage. Variable input loading impedance for MC cartridges from 100ohm to 47Kohm, RC-RIAA (no NFB) ensures the most pure and open sound quality. A balanced output stage fully utilizes our balanced input pre-amplifier exceptional quality.

This phono stage can give you a very warm and open sound quality, making the vinyl even smoother, sweeter, and more alive than ever. A no-negative-feedback circuit ensures no compression in the sound stage. At least 20-30% more depth and width in the sound stage can be achieved, compared with traditional 2-3 tube feedback circuits.

A 40db gain for MM, and 5 selectable gain settings for the MC step-up stage (40dbMM + 9dbMC to + 29dbMC ) is suitable for any MC cartridge available.

There are two separate gain controls sitting beside each 6SL7 output tube for left/right channel output level balancing purposes, so that you can use whatever NOS tubes you desire, without the requirement of closely matching.

The lowest set of photos show the enhanced version of this model, in which the power supply section is completely replaced with an external high reserve power Tx and a big tube rectifier. It boasts 3-way rectification capability (tube/diode/tube+diode).(Additional costs Apply).

This is the new Mk2 version with high current filament regulator, which ensure most quietest back ground noise operation even with super low output MC cartridges.

The 6x5 tube rectifier can further upgrade by our super rectifier STR-104 or higher models , direct plug and play without any mod required.

With this super rectifier adaptor, you can use 300B, 2A3 , 45 , 50 , 80, 83, 1616 , 3B28 or 866A as rectifier tubes option.

Level 1 upgrade : (+ C$200)

Special designed "Super-Drive" circuit, output impedance lowered to 200ohm (can drive any input from 600ohm up to infinity) with better bass control and punch , better definition and improved in overall tonal quality. By adding this upgrade, it sounds like the output with 10 times tubes being used.
