Q4.    What types of maintenance will a tube amplifier required ?

Ans :   

You should clean the tube socket once every year by spraying contact cleaner into the socket holes. If your power amplifier require bias calibration, you should check and re-calibrate the bias level once every 6 months.

During the operation, if you see the tube architecture grows red hot, you should recalibrate the bias , because that indicate the bias level is too high.

Don't turn-on the tube amplifier for 24 hrs per day unless you are listening to it, for it will just burn the life of those tubes. If you never turn off your tube amplifier,  you might need power tubes replacement every 6 to 12 months and pre-amplifier tubes for every 2-3 years.
